Advanced Tissue Regeneration with Renuva

Renuva is an injectable fat substitute that non-surgically restores lost volume and enhances your skin’s tone in the face, hands, and body. This FDA-approved procedure uses an adipose tissue matrix as a framework to support the gradual restoration of your body’s fat cells, effectively improving the appearance of issues like age-related volume loss, indented scars, and liposuction irregularities. It is also a great option for non-surgical buttock augmentation when mixed with other biostimulatory products like Sculptra and Radiesse. Renuva is just one of many advanced, non-surgical treatment options that we’re pleased to offer patients in our Aesthetics Lounge, and is complemented by our full suite of advanced wellness treatments that can leave you feeling on the inside as vibrant and youthful as you look on the outside. If you’d like to learn more about what Renuva can do for you, reach out to Elite Plastic Surgery in Phoenix or Chandler and set up your initial consultation with a helpful member of our support staff.

How Does Renuva Work?

Renuva employs sterilized allograft adipose (fat) injections from donors, as opposed to other autologous fat transfer methods. The goal is to repair and enhance your skin’s volume, texture, tone, and appearance, and Renuva can be applied to a variety of areas like the face, hands, and torso. Your results will be visible immediately, and there will be minimal downtime required once the treatment is over, making this a favorite procedure among our busy and active patients.

Preparing for Your Procedure

Before your procedure, we will schedule a consultation, during which you and your practitioner will work together to create a treatment plan and discuss preparation and expectations. You’ll be able to ask any questions you might have about how the procedure works and your practitioner will explain the experience to you in detail. You’ll be given a clear set of preparatory instructions, along with aftercare instructions that will help you ensure your ideal results.

During the Procedure

Before your treatment session begins, we will apply numbing cream to the treatment area, as it’s always our goal to minimize your discomfort as much as possible. Once the treatment area is numb, your expert practitioner will use a needle to inject fat tissue harvested from small amounts of sterilized allograft adipose tissue provided by donors.

After the transplantation process is complete, Renuva will form an adipose matrix that serves as a framework to restore tissues and enhance the volume, texture, tone, and appearance of the skin in the treatment area. The entire procedure lasts an hour or less, and your results will be immediately visible, with improvements continuing to be seen for the next three months.

Aftercare & Recovery

You can return to your normal daily activities as soon as your Renuva treatment session is over. You may experience a bit of swelling and redness after your procedure, but these issues will gradually decrease over the course of two weeks. You’ll want to avoid touching the treatment area within the first week following your procedure, and we’ll make sure you have a clear set of aftercare instructions.

Our team will also be available to you at all times should you have any questions or need any assistance after your procedure. To learn more about how Renuva can help you, reach out to Elite Plastic Surgery and set up your consultation today.
