Choosing the Right Technique
During your initial consultation, you’ll discuss the ideal type of brow lift for you and your goals, which will depend primarily on your facial features and aesthetic preferences. At our practice, we offer three types of brow lifts: the open brow lift, the endoscopic brow lift, and the limited incision brow lift. Every patient is different, so your results and the surgical technique used to create them will vary according to your custom surgical plan.
The Open Brow Lift
An open brow lift sees your surgeon working through an incision that will be made at your hairline or in a crease of your forehead. Dr. Rozbeh, Dr. Radbeh, or Dr. Ramyar Torabiwill remove excess fat or skin and loosen any overly tightened muscles before raising your skin (after he has removed the excess tissue) to elevate your brow to a higher, more visibly youthful position. An open brow lift is also known as a coronal, classic, or trichophytic brow lift.
The Endoscopic Brow Lift
An endoscopic brow lift is ideal for those who might prefer a more minimally invasive approach to the brow lift procedure. Through tiny incisions made on your scalp, your surgeon will insert an endoscope that transmits images to a computer screen, enabling him to perform the procedure with the advanced guidance of computerized imagery. This option provides you with little to no hair loss and minimal nerve damage.
The Limited Incision Brow Lift
A limited incision brow lift is a hybrid procedure that involves making a nerve-sparing incision over the temporal hairline. This procedure does not involve the use of an endoscope, but the incision is still well hidden and will not require incisions in the scalp directly above your eyes. Your surgeon can then redrape your lateral eyebrows and reposition your skin and tissues to an elevated place for a more rejuvenated appearance around the eyes.
