Radiofrequency (RF) skin resurfacing is a nonsurgical skin treatment at Elite Plastic Surgery in Phoenix, AZ which can redefine the look and feel of your skin and may also help in restoring the damage caused by acne, sun spots, hyper pigmentation, fine lines, and UV damage. During a skin analysis with one of our plastic surgeons, Dr. Torabi or Dr. Matatov, your skin's condition will be evaluated for abnormalities in the skin, discoloration, and much more. Using state-of-the-art technology, the Alma® vShape Ultra, your skin resurfacing treatment can help in leaving your skin looking younger and healthier, and feeling less uneven. Individual results may vary.* If you would like to learn more about RF skin resurfacing, call and schedule a private consultation at our office today.
Do I Qualify?
If you are looking for a treatment that uses a heat energy instead of harsh chemicals on your sensitive skin, you may want to think about RF skin resurfacing, as it is safe for all skin types. A great candidate has:
- Overall good physical health
- Sun spots and/or damage to the skin
- Visible, enlarged pores
- Acne scars
- Acne prone skin
- Uneven, blotchy skin tone
- Sensitive skin that does not react well to harsh chemicals
- Skin that is rough in texture
- Fine lines and wrinkles
What to Expect
During your treatment session, the Aesthetic Technician will pass the hand-held device over your skin in a smooth, fluid motion. Each treatment session typically takes at least 15 minutes or more depending on the amount of skin you will be having treated.
There is very little down time with RF skin resurfacing (about 2 days of skin redness), and it can also be combined with other facial skin rejuvenation treatments. We recommend at least 3 – 5 treatments to see enhancement in the look and feel of the skin. Once we see how your skin responds to the treatment, we can then give you a more definitive answer on how many treatment sessions are needed.
