Meet Dr. Tim Matatov

Arizona plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Tim Matatov, would be honored to be a part of your cosmetic or reconstructive journey. At Elite Plastic Surgery, Dr. Matatov restores both form and function for patients with his surgical skills in body, face, and breast with cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. He is highly skilled in facial rejuvenation, such as facelifts, upper and lower blepharoplasty, endoscopic brow lift, primary and revision rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, breast lift surgery, as well as body contouring, liposuction, abdominoplasty, labiaplasty, and the Brazilian butt lift using the latest advancements in fat grafting techniques. Dr. Matatov is known as a principled, considerate physician who makes sure all of his patients understand all of their options with the utmost professionalism and grace.

Special Skills & Training

Dr. Matatov's surgical skills were perfected during his training at Tulane University in New Orleans (the birthplace of the perforated-based breast reconstruction, which preserves the patient’s muscle) and today he utilizes his highly-specialized skills at Elite Plastic Surgery for patients throughout the Southwest. His training includes implant-based breast reconstructions and more than 150 microvascular breast reconstruction cases. Before Dr. Matatov's three years of plastic and reconstructive surgery training, he fulfilled a five-year general surgery residency at Louisiana State University, where he was appointed Administrative Chief Resident during the final years of both his general and plastic surgery training. 

Dr. Matatov's was recognized by the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society as a fourth year resident, an honor given to only one resident from any department in the institution each year. He was selected for this honor based on exhibiting the qualities of a true leader with excellent surgical skills, clinical judgement, and providing his patients with compassionate care.
