Resolve Facial Volume Loss with Injectable Dermal Fillers

As your skin ages, the framework of collagen and elastin naturally begins to erode. This unfortunate erosion often leads to the development of lines and wrinkles within your skin. At Elite Plastic Surgery, we offer our patients cosmetic fillers that can be injected to lift and plump the skin in areas where it has started to droop and sag, creating a sense of enhanced firmness and resolving issues like skin folds, fine lines, sunken facial features, cheek depressions, and chin dimples.

These injections frequently create results that last between six months and two years, depending upon the type of filler, the area being treated, and the severity of the issues being addressed. Dermal fillers can help you turn back the clock and show the world a more supple look, restoring your self-confidence in exciting ways. If you’d like to learn more about these treatments and how they can benefit you, reach out to Elite Plastic Surgery at our Chandler or Phoenix locations and set up your consultation with a member of our team today.

Types of Dermal Fillers We Offer

At Elite Plastic Surgery, we offer many different options and brands of dermal fillers. During your in-person consultation, you’ll meet with a master injector who can learn about your cosmetic goals before recommending the treatment option that will be ideal for you.

Fat Transfer

It is becoming more popular for patients to use their own fat for facial filling. Excess fat can be removed from one part of the body and then injected into another part for augmentation. A fat transfer produces natural-looking results.

Hyaluronic Acid

The most commonly used dermal and cosmetic products use an acid gel, which is a natural chemical constituent of the skin and is, therefore, less likely to cause an allergic reaction.

Sculptra

Once Sculptram (a polylactic acid) is injected, it begins to increase collagen production. Patients will not be able to see the results of polylactic acid immediately, but improved fullness will continue to appear over time.

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Therapy

The platelet-rich plasma treatment rejuvenates your skin by injecting your own blood plasma under your dermis to stimulate cell growth and collagen production. It’s become quite a sought-after non-surgical procedure thanks to its ability to improve complexion and texture while also restoring lost facial volume for a more natural approach to anti-aging.

PRP Gel (Platelet-Rich Plasma Gel)

The PRP Gel procedure still uses your own plasma, which will then be run through a second machine that creates a more solid gel compound. This helps to increase the speed of the rejuvenation process so the areas treated can be visibly rejuvenated faster.

Kybella

The active ingredient in Kybella is synthetic deoxycholic acid. Deoxycholic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. When injected into the fat beneath the chin (also known as submental chin fat), Kybella destroys unwanted fat cells, resulting in a noticeable reduction in fullness under the chin. Once destroyed, these cells can no longer store or accumulate fat, so further treatment is not expected once you reach your desired aesthetic goal.

Restylane

Restylane Lyft is an FDA-approved treatment that slows down the effects of aging on your hands. It uses an injectable gel filler to correct age-related volume loss in the back of the hands while simultaneously eliminating the presence of moderate to severe wrinkles and folds. The results created by this filler can last for up to one year.

During and After Injectable Dermal Fillers

During your consultation, your provider will assess your facial features and personal goals before recommending the ideal filler. Once your skin has been cleansed and local anesthetic is applied to numb the treatment area, your practitioner will make temporary marks to indicate your customized injection pattern.

Using a pre-filled syringe with a very fine needle, your provider will inject the filler into the treatment areas until the desired results have been achieved. Keep in mind that the deeper the wrinkle, the deeper the product will be injected into the skin. Different injection techniques may be used depending on the type of filler (some fillers are thicker than others).

In all, the process will only take between 45 and 60 minutes to complete. Once the treatment is over, you’ll be able to return to your normal activities, though some patients opt to take the day off and rest. Some minor tenderness, redness, and swelling will be present in the treatment area but will fade over the course of a few hours.

Enjoy Non-Surgical Enhancement with Dermal Fillers

We would love to discuss with you how cosmetic fillers can be a life-changing, noninvasive way to enhance or augment your face. The majority of our patients can return to normal life immediately following a cosmetic filler treatment with effects that can be seen immediately, depending upon the area treated and the product used. In many cases, results can last for between six months and two years.
